Lingmoor is a beautiful Victorian guesthouse in Windermere in the heart of the English lakes only 200 metres from Windermere railway/coach and bus station. Wi-Fi throughout. Choice of breakfast. Recently refurbished rooms.
Our normal hours for accepting arrivals are from 00:00 to 23:00.
We take the first nights stay as deposit from card details supplied.
In the event of cancellation within 14 days of your arrival the deposit is non refundable.
A cancellation less than 48 hours from the arrival date, ‘no show’ or curtailment of stay for any reason, will result in the full amount of the stay being charged.
Credit card payments are subject to a surcharge of 2%. Amex 3.5%.

Prices:The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated. Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, telephone drinks etc are additional. We accept the following forms of payment:cash, cheque by post in advance of your stay, most debit and credit cards.
Pets:Pets are not permitted. We are not suitable accommodation for children under 5 years of age.
Cancellation and Insurance:Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. In the event of cancellation within 14 days of your arrival the deposit is non refundable. A cancellation less than 48 hours from the arrival date, ‘no show’ or curtailment of stay for any reason, will result in the full amount of the stay being charged. Credit card payments are subject to a surcharge of 2%. Amex 3.5%. We advise you to take out travel insurance which is inexpensive.
Non-availability:We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival:Your accommodation is available from 4.00p.m until 7.00pm for check in the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We do an early/late check in by prior arrangement. Please advise your arrival time when you book. Please contact by telephone for unavoidable delays.
Departure:Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.00a.m on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Damages and Breakages:Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
Liability:We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
