Our normal hours for accepting arrivals are from 14:00 to 19:00.
For all bookings we require a non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the entire stay or £30 per room, which ever is greater, will be taken at the time of booking. Card details will be required at the time of booking. (please see payments section for details). We will confirm your booking by email letting you know what the outstanding balance is.
The balance is due on departure.
Terms and ConditionsThank you for choosing to book with The Willowfield. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
1. A credit or debit card will be required to secure a booking.
2. A non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the entire stay or £30 per room, which ever is greater, will be taken at the time of booking. Bookings will be considered to be ‘Provisional’ until a deposit has been received. A written confirmation will be sent via e-mail.
3.The full balance must be settled on departure.
4.The Willowfield accepts, Electron, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo, Visa & Visa Debit cards. Cheques are not accepted for settlement of account unless agreed in advance by us..
Pets:We regret that The Willowfield is unable to take pets.
Cancellation and Insurance:Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately.
Where a room is cancelled less than 14 days, but more than 7 days, prior to the original booked arrival date, a charge equal to the first nights’ stay will be made.
Where a room is cancelled; where the duration of the stay is reduced less than 7 days prior to the original booked arrival date; where you fail to arrive (“no-show”); or where you leave before your due departure date, we reserve the right to charge the full balance for your original booked stay less any costs not incurred by us as a result of your cancellation/alteration.
Non-availability:We will only cancel your reservation if: a) The accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control and suitable alternative accommodation is not available. Or b) Your deposit payment is returned by your bank / card provider.
In the case of (a) above, if the alternative accommodation offerred is not acceptable, you have the right to treat the booking as cancelled upon which we will refund any monies paid. In this circumstance, you will not be liable for any further payment.
In any circumstance where you are entitled to compensation, the limit of our liability to you, arising from our breach of contract shall be up to a maximum of twice the cost of your booking.
Arrival:You will be able to check-in between the hours of 14:00 & 19:00
Arrivals after 19:00 (7pm) will not be accepted and will be treated as a cancellation by you and you will be charged the full rate.
Departure:On the day of departure, you are required to vacate your room by 10:30. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to charge for an additional night’s stay.
We would be very happy to look after your luggage during the day, if required. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Damages and Breakages:We are sure that you will take care whilst you stay with us, and we acknowledge that accidents sometimes happen. We do however reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages which we consider to be deliberately or recklessly caused. You will be notified in writing as soon as is reasonably practicable, if the damage is discovered after you depart. We also reserve the right to charge further sums if we are unable to re-let the room as a consequence of the damage
Liability:We do not accept any liability for damage to your property or injury to you (or other members of your party) whilst on our premises unless caused by the negligence of The Willowfield or its employees.
Data:Any data collected as a result of your booking will be stored in accordance with the provisions of current Data Protection legislation. Any credit or debit card data held by us will be destroyed following the completion of your stay.
LawAny dispute between The Willowfield and you will be governed by English Law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts
Smoking PolicyThe Willowfield is a No Smoking Establishment. If we find that guests have been smoking in the building, we reserve the right ask you to leave immediately. You will remain liable for the whole of the cost of your stay. Whether or not you are asked to leave, we also reserve the right to charge a sum equivalent to one night’s stay if we are unable to re-let the room for 24 hours whilst it is fully aired. You will be notified in writing as soon as is reasonably practicable if evidence of smoking is discovered after you depart.
