Our normal hours for accepting arrivals are from 14:00 to 22:00.

Upon receiving your reservation from Guestlink, we will send confirmation directly to you within 48 hours.

Seven days before your check-in date (or fourteen days in May - September) the card you have supplied will be charged
with the total amount of your booking. Should your card not authorise payment we will
contact you immediately for alternative card details. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel your
booking if you do not supply new card details within twenty four hours. A 2% charge will be added to all
bookings made online.

Prices:The price quoted here includes lodging, cold table buffet breakfast and VAT. Extras such as mini-bar beverages, telephone calls, newspapers, laundry service and parking are additional. We accept Visa, MasterCard and UK-issued Visa Debit cards to secure reservations.. Balances can also be settled in person using cash or GBP sterling travellers cheques. There is a 2% service charge for payment by credit card and some non-UK Visa/MasterCard debit cards.
Pets:Well behaved pets are permitted BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. A charge may be applicable and we reserve the right to move a reservation to a room more suitable for pets. Pets are not allowed in the public areas and must not be left unattended in bedrooms.
Cancellation and Insurance:Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 7 days prior to your arrival date you will not be liable for cancellation charges, 14 days when the booking is for the months of June,July and September. Cancellations made after 12 midnight Oxford time 8 days before arrival, and before 12 midnight a full 48 hours before arrival date (not arrival time) incur a charge of 50% of your room rate (£50 per night minimum), which may be waived at our discretion if the room is resold. Cancellations made after 12 midnight two-days before arrival time will incur full charges.. N.B. Bookings made for May - September 2018 the cancellation period is extended to 14 days. Please contact us is you require further clarification. Reservations of more than two nights will be charged in full for the two nights and all subsequent nights will be charged at 50% (or £50 is this is greater). For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
Non-availability:We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival:Your accommodation is available to you from 2pm on the day of arrival.
If you arrive earlier than this, we are more than happy to store any luggage for you. Reception closes at 11pm and guests need to arrive before this time.
Departure:Check out time is 11am Monday to Saturday and 11.30am on Sunday. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure. If you have a car in one of our car parks, then this also must be removed by check-out time. We are sometimes able to allow guests to stay on in our carparks but this arrangement should be made on arrival and can not be guaranteed. An additional fee will be charged.
Damages and Breakages:Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you neglect to report this.
Liability:We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Parking:The hotel has a limited number of secure parking spaces nearby at a charge of £23 daily.( N.B. this will increase to £25 per night from 1st March 2018.) Car parking spaces are allocated according to the date of the room reservation and the first six cars booked will be given the nearby parking. When all the nearby spaces have been booked cars will be directed to a private off road car park which is a 6/8 minutes’ walk from the hotel. ( Very large vehicles/vans etc. may not be able to park in the nearby parking area. Please let us know beforehand if you think your vehicle falls into this category). For guests needing to park their cars beyond check out time an additional charge of £1.50 per hour will be payable provided that spaces are available.
To access the parking areas, a security fob is required. The fob and directions to your allocated parking area are available at reception on your arrival. Vehicles can be parked briefly at the top of Bath Place on Holywell Street with hazard lights on while you come to collect the security fob and directions. We recommend you unload your luggage at this time and are happy to help with us.
Single Occupancy:Single occupancy rates are available for most of our rooms from Sunday to Wednesday nights through to the end of April 2018.
From the 1st of May to the 30th of September 2018 single rates will be available on selected rooms only from Sunday to Tuesday nights. Please enquire for further details.
Smoking:Smoking is not permitted in any part of our property. A charge of at least £100 will be made if this rule is broken.
